This week we celebrate our school counselors during National School Counselor Week (2/5 – 2/9).  Our counselors do so much for us here at Frontier from supporting students to supporting adults, several logistics (scheduling, forecasting), prepping kids for career and post-middle school choices, educating them about mental health and so much more!  If you see Lesley King (Counselor), Heather Love (Counselor), Cecilia Fowler (School Psychologist), Tina Scheer (Counseling intern) and Chris Turner (Career and Guidance Specialist) please give them a big thank you!

What’s Space Got To Do With It?

On Wednesday, our 8th grade students shared their genius hour projects connected to the theme, What’s Space Got To Do With It?   Our 8th graders made us very proud as they worked to present their research to staff, peers, and parents.  Parents provided feedback and some amazing topics were on display.  Shout out to Kristie Brookes, Anna Sylvester and Randy Bergstrom for prepping our 8th graders for the big night!

Forecasting is on the horizon!

Just a reminder that forecasting is nearly upon us!  It’s hard to believe, but it will soon be time for students to begin thinking about the transition to and from middle school.  Below is a link to our forecasting timeline and the dates that we can expect.  If you have any questions, please contact myself, Lesley, Heather, or Suzanne!
